RETURN POLICY

Trader James offers a 30 day return policy on purchases. We will refund your order total, less the cost of shipping and handling each way. Please note the following exceptions:

- Items sold with “free shipping”, actual shipping costs will be deducted from refund.
- Cancellation of any shipped order will be treated as a return, and return policies will apply.
- Any return items must be in new condition and in the original packaging.
- Any items modified or assembled by the customer are not returnable or refundable.
- Any orders delivered “damaged”, please refer to the procedures for ”Damaged Items.”
- Some items are not returnable and will be so noted “Non Refundable” on the sale page.
- Gift Certificates are not refundable.


DAMAGED PRODUCTS

All of our products are securely and safely prepared for shipping. We do not sell items which do not ship well. Once in a while an item will arrive damaged. Should this happen please notify us within 10 days and Trader James will send a replacement as soon as possible.

Most of our products are shipped UPS, Fed Ex or USPS. Some larger item are shipped freight. If you have a damaged product delivered by a company other that UPS, Fed Ex or USPS, please follow this procedure:

- When you sign for delivery, even if the package appears only slightly damaged, please write “Package Damaged”. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery. In this case, please notify us at 855-857-3325 or email us at [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can prepare for the return shipment. If you email us please include a phone # and time we can easily reach you.

- If you have already accepted the package and notice missing or damaged parts, please contact us immediately and we will ship you replacement parts free of charge. We usually only have a 48 hour window to file freight claims. If we cannot replace the parts, our carrier will pick up the original package and we will send you a full replacement.

- If your purchase has a manufacturer’s defect, we can replace the defective part or if necessary the entire unit.

We are selective about our products and strive only to sell the most dependable and well constructed products, from the most reputable manufacturers. This works out better for our customers and our company.
